OUR LOVE STORY
OUR
LOVE STORY
It was January
2015 in my Form 6 Vacation.
My friend and
cousin sister while at school called me and we had a normal jazz as usual and
later on she asked me to say hi to her good friend (Patience Natumanya). These
were all doing the same course at college.
This happened again
after some days because she had sounded friendly and that’s when I started wanting
to know more about her like her home etc. Good enough she shared with me so we
exchanged numbers then and that was the genesis of our friendship.
Later around May,
to me I felt it should be more of friendship and NOTE by this time, I had not
seen her physically however she had seen my photo literally meaning I started
falling for someone I had not seen (sounds awkward). I unleashed what I was
feeling to her though there was no immediate reply but instead signs of
positive response
In August while
reporting to Campus (Mbarara University), I stopped by Kabwohe and channeled to
Ishaka where I met her alongside my sister. That visit gave me hope so later on
we affirmed that we had started dating.
It was all smooth
from 2015 and she (my girlfriend) had started working at the beginning of 2016.
From September 2016 I started feeling out of place and in November I asked to
quit the relationship because “I felt she wasn’t my level the fact that she had
started working and I was in my second year at campus” I looked at the time I
was to finish school and then when I would be ready to marry her it seemed a mystery.
It wasn’t easy for
her and she asked me many times to revise my decision but my mind was already
corrupted so we parted ways and life moved on. It went back to friendship zone
then so we could have a phone call once in a while.
July 2017 was the
most challenging moment for me because I realized I messed up with gold because
of her character and innocence. In August, I couldn’t hold it anymore so we
scheduled a date and it was I apologized for everything and asked if she could
let me in again.
She looked she had
waited for this statement longtime ago and so she said yes. We there began once
again and this time it was serious.
December 31st
2018, we received our first Son “Mugume Shadrach”
May 4th
2019, we were wedded by our best friend and mentor Rev. Justus Murokore at St.
Paul’s C.O.U Masheruka Archdeaconry, West Ankole Diocese.
And today 4th
May 2021, we celebrate our second marriage anniversary and looking out to
celebrate more and more in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We bless the
Lord for this journey.
Ephesians 4:2: "Be completely humble and gentle; be
patient, bearing with one another in love."
Next will be our
Marriage life please watch out the story:
